POCKWOOD POND, Tortola, VI- A man has been rushed to Peebles Hospital after the car he was in toppled on the public road at Pockwood Pond on the main island of Tortola minutes ago, April 29, 2015.

According to reports reaching Virgin Islands News Online, the vehicle bearing license plate PVI 4187 "hit a rock" on the side of the road and turned turtle.

The driver was the lone occupant of the vehicle.

Police and Fire and Rescue Services officers are on the scene conducting investigations.

    That was a very bad accident with traffic backed up quite a ways. The police and fire department did a good job clearing the road quickly.

    I hope the gentleman will be OK. There was virtually nothing left of the front end of the vehicle and the roof was almost completely crushed. Sending prayers to the driver.

      I hope the driver makes a fast recovery. As for Peaches, I think something is wrong with you, for a start prayer never did anything and satan is as fictional as gods, so please stop trying to scaremonger other naïve persons with foolishness.
